It was a super pleasure getting to know all of you and to work with you and I'm so sorry the end of the class had to take this shape. I sincerely hope you come back to take Advanced or Figure Drawing with me in the future. 

WEEK SEVENTEEN: Critique and Field Trip, 5/3-9

5/9 UPDATE TO THE UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: 

Still in hospital, maybe out Friday but I'm realizing when I do get out I"m still very sick and will have NO ENERGY. 

I will not be returning to class next week and I will need to see about coming in the week after. I'm re-assessing based on how clearly sick I sill am. 

SO next week: 
Tuesdayf May 7 rather than a critique plan on coming into class to draw. Linda Hope will be your sub. You will be doing a reflection/transparent drawing. 
Thursday May 9 I am still planning on the visit to the Contemporary Jewish Museum except you will do it with a sub.

THEN the following week Tuesday May 14 you will have me or a sub to do our final day of drawing in the classroom - a Wayne Theibaud hommage day.

Update at 7am Tuesday April 30: I’ve been pretty sick since Thursday last. Admitted to the hospital on Sunday with pneumonia and the flu. I’m so out of it still. Going to be here till at least Friday. I’m cancelling both our outside class this week, use the time to work at home. 
Sorry not to be there, see you next week.
